Land Fitness Classes

Land fitness classes can be taken at the Derby Recreation Center or at Oaklawn Activity Center. Fitness class schedules are available. Register for any session during any season online, by phone at 316.788.3781 or by stopping into the DRC and speaking to someone at the front desk. 

You must be 16 years of age to take a fitness class.

Not a member? Not a problem! You may "drop-in" to any class for just $5.00.

3-2-1 Go NEW!

3-2-1 interval approach: 3 minutes of strength, 2 minutes of cardio and 1 minute of abs. This mid-day workout is designed to help you crush your fitness goals and leave you feeling like a champion! register button

Boot camp

Cardio Core

POwer lunch

Get fit during lunch with the POWER of weights. Using all muscle groups you will lift weights and strengthen your entire body. You can design the class that works best for you with either a 30 minute class or stay for the entire hour. Guaranteed to be doing squats, dead lifts, lunges and strong core work. Senior strength training

Entry level weight bearing and muscle strengthening exercise class for seniors. Our instructor will help you modify the workout to meet your personal needs. Browse the times and dates that are right for you. register button

Stadium Boot Camp - NEW!

Rise and shine it is a kick your tail, early morning boot camp at Panther Stadium! This class is for everyone and can be modified for all levels. register button

This class will work your entire body in just 45 minutes. We will use dumbbells, body bars, TRX, Fitness Center and your own body weight. register button

Turbo Kick - NEW!

Turbo Kick is a combination of kickboxing and athletic moves perfectly in tune to high energy and motivating music. An ultimate cardiovascular challenge that's a unique blend of intense intervals, strength & endurance training, and a relaxing cool-down. Turbo Kick requires no previous kickboxing experience.
